Week commencing 1st February
Good morning,
Our final two weeks of English this half term will be spent planning and writing our own Beatrix Potter style story. You’ll have the chance to create your own characters and plot using one of Beatrix’s existing stories as a base. Over the week we’ll plan them step by step and next week we will write each part day by day to ensure you are including your best vocabulary and writing skills.
This week we’ll start with some guided reading then on Tuesday we’ll be looking at the 4 different sentence types. The rest of the week will be spent planning your stories.
