Week commencing 8th February
Good morning Year 2,
This week we will be writing our own Beatrix Potter style stories! So get your best pen or pencil ready because we can’t wait to read your fabulous ideas.
We will be writing your stories bit by bit over the week so we can make each part as good as it can be and don’t rush through the story. So each day you’ll be writing about a paragraph but we are focusing on quality over quantity. At the bottom of the page there are various word banks which might be useful, you don’t need to use them all.
On Friday your task will be to read someone your story. You might want to call or FaceTime a family member or friend or you could record yourself and send it to them. Be as expressive as you can when you read it! We’d then love it if you can snuggle up and watch a Peter Rabbit film. There’s lots to choose from!
