November 2019 – Whole School Remembrance Day 2019
Remembrance Collective Worship
Children in Holy Trinity were invited to be part of a community art project by creating poppies to commemorate Remembrance Day 2019.” The finished poppies will be displayed in Leeds Kirkgate Market for all to see from the 2nd November!
As part of our learning about Remembrance Day, Holy Trinity had a WW1 day. The children enjoyed learning about WW1 and experienced dressing eachother in bandages and carrying each other on stretchers, identifying artefacts and experienced a WW1 soldier obstacle course.
